Sandbar 12.13.15

Well the Pipe Masters is off for a few days but a nice sandbar has formed at Ehukai and to the left of Off the Wall. It’s nothing like it was a few days ago when it was 10ft but waves are small now (bout 2-3ft Hawaiian) and super fun. Oh by the way, the beach is packed! Waikiki 12.7.15

It’s the winter which means smaller surf in Waikiki and the whole South Shore. There’s usually something ride-able, though if helps if you have a 10 footer with lots of float. Crossing our fingers for a few out of season pulses from the South Pacific or New Zealand. Oh and don’t forget to follow me on my weekly trips to the beach. Surf is small in town…like knee high. Sunset in Waikiki 4.20.15

As summer approaches the sun begins to set in more of a westerly direction. Soon the sun will set behind the Waianae Mountain range and the best viewing will be on the North Shore. The high level clouds help with viewing the sunset so you don’t completely burn your eyes off. Waikiki Beach.
